We try to keep the Kinbaku Project as simple and easy to use, yet there are some things you might need to know, especially as an event organizer, rope teacher or performer.

1. How to advertise an event

To advertise an event we need some informations from you!
In case you want to advertise a single event, please contact us via: contact@kinbaku-project.com and send us the data listed below directly!

If you want to advertise on a regular basis we offer you the possibility to create a user account to create and revise your events independently.

! Before you advertise an event you have to make sure, that a related venue and organizer site is already implemented !

1.1 Event types

We support any kind of Shibari or Kinbaku related events, such as Jams, Classes, Workshops, Meet-Ups, Festivals, ConventionsPerformances and more…

As much as we are sex-positive oriented, we do not advertise body- or sexwork and related events.

1.2. Necessary information to be listed

Event title (in case of ambiguous event titles such as “Bondage Jam” please use a distinct title e.g. “Bondage Jam Berlin“)

Description (< 250 words)

Date and time (Single event or recurring)

Image: landscape (max. 500px in height)

2. How to be listed as a venue

You can tell us about new or missing venues using our venue submission form here.

2.1 Venue types

Venues can be rented rooms, clubs, living rooms, exhibition halls or whatever place it is you choose to let Shibari/Kinbaku happen.

IMPORTANT: In case that you are not the owner of the venues (e.g. public places, exhibition halls, any rented space) please check with the owner of the venues whether you are allowed to advertise the venue and in which extend!

3. How to be listed as an organizer / teacher / performer

You can not enter organizer / teacher / performer profiles by yourself, yet!

To be added as organizer / teacher / performer profile send your information as described below to contact@kinbaku-project.com

! Organizer / Teacher / Performer are three separated profiles: each profile can have a different title / description / picture / contact information.

Express yourself in all your facets !

3.1 Organizer / Teacher / Performer

Organizer are such, that invite teacher or performer other than themselves and provide time, space and/or events to host these.

Teacher / Performer are those who are teaching or performing during an event by themselves!

IMPORTANT: In case that you advertise an event, that hosts other organizer, teacher or performer as yourself, please check with them whether you are allowed to advertise them and in which extend!

2. The purpose is to give you and the user of this calendar the best possible results to learn and research about shibari and kinbaku related happenings around Europe.

3. When you apply to be listed as a organizer, teacher or performer on our website you agree that your data is being collected and stored by us.

4. The application form states clearly which data we need from you and which out of the given data you want and need to be published in order to be listed as a organizer, teacher or performer (e.g. real name – alias / stage name, phone, e-mail).

5. The data is solely collected and stored by us and will not be used otherwise than for the stated purpose of representing you on this website and will not be shared with anyone else.

6. You have access and insight into your stored data at any time.

Your privacy as a venue / venue owner is important to us and we are aware that some are opening their private living spaces to allow friends and foreigners a unique rope experience. Thus beside our privacy policy following the GDPR (2018) it is important to us to let you know:

2. The purpose is to give you and the user of this calendar the best possible results to learn and research about shibari and kinbaku related happenings around Europe.

3. When you apply to be listed as a venue on our website you agree that your data is being collected and stored by us.

4. The application form states clearly which data we need from you and which out of the given data you want and need to be published in order to be listed as a venue (e.g. full address – limited address, for example city or postal code only).
