The Kinbaku Dojo Berlin is an association in which Japanese Bondage (Shibari) is taught. Shibari has developed in Japan from the traditional military restraint Hojōjutsu and has become piece by piece to an erotic art. The passion that can be imparted by the ties is as diverse as the people who run it, Kinbaku masters, Shibari devotees, rigger and bunnies, rope builders, self-bondage artists, etc. The approach to the art of tying is completely individual. We, the Kinbaku Dojo Berlin have founded an association that brings together rope enthusiasts and teaches Shibari in theory and practice.
The knowledge is taught similar to a martial arts club. There are several stages that can be achieved over time. Following the Japanese model, the basics are taught first. Then follow more complex patterns. Everyone learns at their pace. It is not only paid attention to the technique, but also to the attitude. Only when a technique has been intensively internalized, we move to the next step. Teaching in the dojo thus differs from workshop concepts.
The goal is to achieve a routine in the tying via regularity and constant repetitions, which allows the partner to be captured quickly, efficiently and with the greatest possible safety.

Training is done in couples, so you need someone to accompany you.

Due to the great demand we decided to let new students join only in the first week of a month. If you have never been at our training please sign up for on of the „starter trainings“.
