Here we are!
It took us nearly six month from the very first idea of such a thing as the European Shibari Venue project until today -and we are still far from done. Yet, we had the feeling it is time for us to launch. Not with a Big Bang, but slowly growing into the community, by inviting personally everyone we know to join the platform, to present their work and to spread the work.
But first: who are we and why are we doing such a thing:
We are a group of people who believe in the expression of oneself through ropes. With the Kinbaku Project we want to give people a single point of contact when it comes to finding Shibari and Kinbaku related events, the many different venues, teachers and performers throughout Europe.
As there is a growing number of different platforms that is used for announcing information about classes and workshops, such as Facebook, Instagram, Joy, FL or even private homepages and national kinky online communities, it can be very difficult to find the events that you are interested in. -and as many venues facing censorships or bans from thus platforms, we want to bring these offers together on a single website, where you are free to post your information and share your awesome events with the community without the fear of being blocked without notice.
What can you expect from the Kinbaku Project?
With the calendar system we provide the means to search for specific dates or even venues and teachers. We will list active venues, organizer, teacher and performers as well as news and updates from the community.
If you are organizing events, are running a venue or otherwise are interested in sharing your information with other people from the rope community the Kinbaku Project gives you the space you need to advertise yourself and what you do!

As we are aware, that none of us have a lot of money to spare, we keep the basic functions free of any charge. Anyway, we do have costs. That made us think: what can we do?
We decided to trust into the community by offering the opportunity to support us via Patreon and Buy me a coffee (a.k.a rope) in exchange for extended advertisement possibilities or just for the sake of helping us run and grow this platform. Anyway our eternal thanks are guaranteed.

It took us quite some energy to get up to this point, but we already had a row of wonderful supporters, which need to be mentioned!
It all startet with a beautiful girl called Tamina who spread the word about our crazy idea to Swen Brandy a.k.a. Carnivore from Carnivore pictures. Without his energy we wouldn’t even have started until now. But there he was and not only did he fill us with energy, but he supplied us also with our superb logo! -and feedback and more feedback.
The next supporter who needs to be mentioned is Zor Neurobashing. After asking him casually about his opinion to our not-yet-born fantasy he poured his energy into the same pot as Swen did and we kick-started! Followed by more feedback, shoulder-patting and technical support.
Also Natasha NawaTaNeko and Arekusanda NawaRonin from Discover Kinbaku, Red Sabbath from Kinbaku Luxuria and Tamandua did their magic with constantly supplying us with valuable informations, feedback and test events on a continuous basis. Thanks to all of you, without you the Kinbaku Project would have never made it into existence.
Also together with Kink & Ropes, Discover Kinbaku’s Earth: Feeling the Ground, Madrid Shibari presenting Kinbaku Luxuria and Kinetik Speicher we are super excited to already to present our first event-entries, venues, organizers, teacher and performer!
What is coming next:
There are still some bugs we need to resolve, but we are working hard on that in the background, to make your experience as best as possible! Thus we want to extend the possibilities to use web plug-ins to send us your profile as a teacher, performer or organizer of an event and to add venues and events instead of sending us the necessary data via mail. For now, we will keep you posted on our updates!
