We created this rope meet to offer young folks from the Rhine-Ruhr area with an interest in shibari a possibility for a regular event that is easily accessible to them. We are part of a younger generation with a different attitude towards BDSM as a lifestyle. As such, we are somewhat unlike the “older generation” who don’t necessarily share our way of thinking and living. We also often don’t have the same resources when it comes to profiting from the existing infrastructure. That is why we want RIGGOROS – Junges Fesseln! to present both a “safe zone” for young people and an opportunity that remains financially and logistically manageable for them.

We base our definition of “young” around the age limits of the SMJG and SMJG alumni munches, but obviously the minimum age for any rope meet is 18 years, making it that our offer extends to those aged 18 to around 40 years. If you want to bring along your older partner, that’s normally possible. In that case, please contact us in advance.

We aim for a biweekly rhythm and really like Sunday afternoons for a nice rope session 😉
So on every first sunday we will meet at the LebensArt in Duisburg. It is a cosy Yoga Studio near the City-Center.
On every third sunday we will meet at the “fourelements Kinbaku Lounge” in Königswinter (close to Bonn) which is a unique location solely created for shibari and kinbaku.
